B&H has been fast in shipping this as always, so thumbs up for that. The unit itself is good and does precisely what it claims to do. Software was easy to download, install and run. I did a bunch of YouTube research before going into this, so I knew what to expect and honestly, from my own home prints I already knew my monitors' brightness, contrast and color were completely off, despite my best efforts to manually adjust. I have an old Spyder4 from 2013 that no longer works on the Mac, because Mac no longer supports the 32bit software. Since none of this stuff has open source code, I was forced to purchase a new colorimeter. Based on some reviews I read, besides Datacolor (maker of the Spyder), X-rite is the other choice, so I decided to give this brand a try. I went with the Studio version since I have complete control over the ambient lighting conditions and do not really need to spend extra to get hardware that adjusts for ambient light effect.
