Excellent value with very little compromise!

I purchased this during a black Friday sale and must say that for the price ($29.99 when purchased) this is an amazing value. I bought this to replace an aging 2017 era Roku Premiere 4K (non HDR version) which was starting to feel sluggish and not as responsive as it once did. The Streaming Stick 4K is much more compact (a dongle versus a countertop box) and can be plugged directly into the HDMI port so you don't even need an HDMI cable to use it. Having said that, I needed an HDMI extender cable, which is not included in the package. Roku does offer you that you can order one for free though, -

I bought this so that I could use streaming services on an older Samsung LCD TV that lacked any "app" capability. I have other Roku devices, so Installation was easy and familiar. I only had one issue, which was that my TV's USB port did not supply quite enough power for the Roku stick. This is the first time I have had this problem, and Ive installed other Roku sticks on older TVs. In this case, about half the time I turned on the Roku, Id get a warning that there was not enough power. Sometimes it would work, but eventually it would fail during streaming.
